Walmart Discover approved but

I am supposed to be laying off applications but after 3 months of filling out the Walmart application and not submitting, today I hit submit ;( I was approved for the walmart discover, starting limit is $2000 but my APR  22.9%? Should I call recon to lower APR and maybe increase limit?

Re: I am mad at myself. Walmart application

I think everyone gets the same APR, that is how its listed on the T&Cs. All store cards have high APRs

22.90% APR is for all applicants, regardless of your credit worthiness. You can't lower it.

Okay, I just figured the the discover version might have a lower rate. No problem, at least it has the free fico. Hopefully it will have special financing around the holiday.I have the amazon store account and I love the 6 month no interest deals.

Re: Walmart Discover approved but

I have a Wells Fargo secured card $300.00 (7-1-2012) and then in Aug. got an Applied secured card $200.00 .

With these scores

  • Experian - 613
  • Equifax - 625
  • TransUnion - 661
  • do you think I'd be approved for the Wal-Mart Discover card?
