I wonder if the Discover version starts with a min CL of $2000?

I don't think so. I could have sworn I saw a discover version approval on here at $800 or $900ish. Maybe I am wrong though. It would be interesting to know how they determine who gets the discover version.

I think they have a dart board, and when you app they just put your name up, some darts say discover, some say store card, and then they just throw and see which sticks first Smiley Tongue

My husband apped in-store yesterday. We didn't need another card...but we want the free TU FICO. (My turn to app next.) He was approved for the Discover. The clerk said, "Oh...the Discover. I don't see that happen very often." They gave him a "temporary" one-day limit of $3k and told him that the actual limit would be decided at some point before he gets the card in the mail.

Just FYI....the most recent TU 04 that we know of his is 785. He doesn't have any baddies. About an 8 year AAoA.

Your husband might get an insane credit limit. My temporary limit to use online (of course I didn't) was only $500 with the regular credit limit being $2000!!

Re: I am mad at myself. Walmart application

Question, if you apply for the Walmart credit card and recieve the store card, could you only use it at a Walmart store or could I use it elsewhere? Thanks.

[ Edited ]

Store card can only be used at the store, Discover version can be used anywhere that accepts discover

Edit: You can use it at sam's club too, and walmart gas stations
