My limit is 10.000 on the card,tried to get a CLI and was denied .
The letter came today and it says
We are notable to assign the credit line you requested because it exceeds the amount of increase our policy allows.
some one has a higher limit?

Yes there are higher limits. What this means is you are at the limit they will extend at this point in time, show them you can handle this limit responsibly and you can request further CLI down the line.
Oh well I can live with this limit,have better card with higher limit

With Synchrony how high your limits are on their major CCs are based on your TU score. For example: when my TU was at 711 a whle back, the highest limit they would extend me on the 3 major CCs I have with them was $8000. I think when it reaches 720 or 730 they let you bump it up a little more.

This seems exactly my own experience as well. That letter of explanation is a general (canned if you will) outline that fits their category or level of eligibility at the present time.
