With my scores (TU 672, EQ 635 and FAKO EX USAA - 661/ CS - 712) and only negatives (lates - most recent March this year...none since) and one paid CO from 2009, which one of these cards would be best for me to apply to? I want want that will pull TU.
Thanks,
Duncan

1. Which one of the three is the most easy to obtain:
Walmart, Paypal or Target?
2. With Paypal and the option to get store card if declined for Mastercard, is that a good choice (i.e. less risk of outright denial?)
3. Which one would grow most with me? I cant see me using Paypal other than for rebuild.
Thanks,
Duncan

With Paypal smart connect you can link it to your paypal debit card, which makes it just like a credit card.

Will Paypal smart connect ever upgrade to their MC?

Go with Walmart. Stay far away from Target unless you enjoy $200-$300 limits and no credit increases.

I app'd walmart online about a week after my smart connect. I app'd for paypal MC, got $500 SC (with 10 inquiries on my report) and then app'd walmart online and got instant approval for $500 with 11 inquiries on my report. Only benefit of app'ing in store for walmart is if you get approved (while making a purchase of $100+ ) you will immediately get $20 off of your purchase if you put it on your walmart card.

Thing that sucks about applying in the store, if you get denied and was buying the $100+ to save 20% then you either end up buying it all or having to say "put it back"
I'm going to apply online. I believe you still get the discount if you do that?
