Whats the typical score need to get the walmart store card?
Around 610 or so.. They mostly pull TU!
It depends on your report content but it is a relatively easy card to get. My TU score was 520 and eq was 607 when I applied and was approved. Hope that helps. Someone on this forum had convinced me to apply and I was shocked in a good way to be approved.
i just got one yesterday with TU fico (from here) of 659, but i was declined 46 days ago with a TU score(from here) of 619
It depends on your report, but I have heard people getting approved with scores in the 500s!
Everyone gets a walmart card but me! Maybe one day... lol
Well I applied and got approved for a decent limit. Does anybody know how they are with cli and how do i get the monthly tu score?
Enroll in electronic statements to get the TU score.
You can request a CLI every 4 statements but they may give you an auto-CLI before the 4th statement, it varies. Very generous lender, in my opinion.
I think I read somewhere you need a 625-699 for the store, and 7 and above for the Discover.
It all depends.. I tried for the wally card twice last year with TU scores around 630 and didn't get it.. the third time i applied it was actually lower than 630 and i was approved! That same day i felt lucky with GE and app'd for a JCP card and was approved as well.. Good Luck if you decide to app!
I really don't think approvals go by score but more about the content of your CR, it seems like Walmart and store cards are inconsistant on their approvals. You can be in the 500's with good history and get approve versus 600's with slow pay or baddies and get denied. So scores don't make much of a big difference as long as your content meets their standards.
