I looked up top and also searched the net. Came up with these backdoor numbers -
Walmart - 1-877-294-7548
JCP - 1-800-542-0800
Called both, pretty much the exact same recordings, no person, entered info and denied. I have a feeling these aren't the correct numbers to get in touch with a person unless nobody is there on Sunday.
My Wallet - Barclay's - $3700. Target - $3000. Cap 1 - $2500. Merrick - $1000. Orchard - $950. Walmart - $700. JCP - $200.

I Googled also. Figured I would get a live person but it was like calling the numbers on back of the cards.

For those of you that have gone in through the backdoor of those companies, am I on the right track with those numbers?

I actually work for JCP and call the line a lot of time for further reviews or recons. Try 1-800-243-8500. They may ask for a store # and associate #; just tell them you applied for a card and wasn't able to call in store, that you're simply a customer who applied. Guaranteed it gets you to a real live person who has access to your account!
[Edit]: You may have to hit 0 for operator calling outside of the store!
