So yesterday I made a payment online very early in the morning, ( yesterday was the due date) and this morning when I checked I was charged a $25 late fee, and the payment status still shows as pending. What's up with that? I mean I did pay on the due date, right? Is that going to affect my credit somehow?

It often takes Walmart a couple of days to post the payment...

No, it won't affect your credit score.

Yes, it will cost you the $25...unless you call them and ask nicely for them to remove the fee.

Once your account is updated the late fee will be removed as long as it was paid on timed.
