I don't need another credit card but the free FICO score makes getting this card awful tempting. Do you think it is worth another inquiry and added new account for the free monthly score?
Not until you learn what version of the score it is.

I think only you can answer that question. True, we don't know what version it is yet, but it is a FICO score. Look at how many inquiries you have and what opening a new account will due to your AAoA. If you can spare an inquiry and won't lose any time from your AAoA, then go for it. Just do what's best for your overall situation.
I just hate having to fork out $20 every time I pull my TU score from myFICO. Any ideas how much opening this card will affect scores? I currently have 2 INQ on EX, 1 on EQ and 1 on TU. All INQ are over a year old except 1 recent on EX. AAoA is about 6.6 years..
Just and FYI, the TU score on the walmart site is not the same score you get here. It's speculation that it's a newer version of the TU FICO, possibly the TU04 we are all hearing about. But having said that, it is a FICO score and it is FREE vs $20. I'm with you.
I think it will pull EQ. If your current inquiries are a year old already, that will not impact your score, as those year old ones are no longer considered for scoring purposes. With an AAoA of 6.6 years, I can't see one new account dropping you below 6 years. If you take any score hit, at all, it will be minimal.
free is always worth it for me! it really helps me stop spending money checking my credit scores.
I thought GE pulls TU not EQ.
There another post here about walmart denying someone, and the score they gave was a NextGen score? Does that solve the Walmart/TU mystery?
So it's been verified that the Walmart score is a nextgen score and not really worthwhile?
