Walmart cash advance limit?

The cash back limit is weird.  It is "supposed" to be 20% but it seems like once you get $100 back, every time you push for cash back it is declined and the purchase is approved.

We paid or account down to $70, got the limit raised to $1050 from $600 in Dec, used the card and got $100 back over the purchase, and 2 weeks later tried to get $60 and was declined. This has happened several times.

You might as well figure there is no cash back on this card.

It's come in handy a few times when I needed cash and didn't want to take a ride home or to the bank to get some. If it goes up, fine.  If not, I'm ok with that too.

It's 20% of your initial CL (possibly YMMV, but not often).   So since I had a $300 SL, my cash-over limit is $60.   I now have a $5K CL, but my cash-over limit is still $60.

That makes sense. My opening credit line was $600. so the cash-over limit was (and still is) $120.00.

If cash over purchase mine is 60$ ..made a 10$ purchase and had the 20$, 40$ and 60$ option to take cash out. cash advance I have no clue as I would never use it due to the interest rates!

I don't believe there is an interest charge if you pay it off by the due date.

From my experience, in the case of the store card the cash advances are treated the same as purchases in the sense that the same APR applies and you pay interest only if you don't PIF by the due date.

P.S. It's essentially the same as Discover's cash over purchase which is another convenient way to get cash without going to an ATM and/or incurring fees.

My current available cash withdrawal at register limit is $100 w/ a current CL of 3.5K.  I started out with a $500 CL though so the $100 is definitely 20% of my original CL.

Exactly, I consider it one of the "perks" of the card, free $$$ for up to 45 days when I PIF, which I always do - at 22.9% APR, this is not a card on which I'd carry a balance, except for deferred interest for a large purchase. I always take $20-40 COP every time I use the card. As for the cash advance being 20% of CL, not for me - initial CL was $1400, cash limit $200. CL now $2400, cash limit still $200.

I have a $5800 credit limit on my Walmart mc and my cash advance limit is $1160.
