Walmart credit card recon

Hey guys! This is my first post on the forums so I am hopefully in the right section. I applied and was approved for a walmart credit card recently with a $900 limit. I got the card only to take advantage of the special financing for a new tv and sound bar. I would need $1500 to do this. I tried a couple of the backdoor numbers listed on the forum to get increased but it seemed to be regular csr's who just punched it in the computer and said I was denied which I can understand since I just got the card. I just wondered if anyone had a way of actually talking to underwriters or someone that could take the situation into account to possibly get the increase I need for the purchase? Most call credit solutions for all ge cards. I don't know the number but hopefully someone will let you know. Welcome to the Forum!

When you call dont be afraid to ask for $5k to accommodate your purchase. They counter offer if it's possible. Goodluck!

I def understand what you mean OP....i have done the same asked for a CLI on the web, didnt get it and when i called the backdoor number given, it was like they did the sme thing the computer doing...i will try the credit solution number too and so how that works. keeps us updated

Well I tried that number and pleaded my case and they wouldn't budge. She said she was a credit analyst and had manually reviewed it with a no go. Oh well. Thank you all very much for the great assistance and hopefully better luck next time lol.
