Hi everyone,
I know alot of people have mentioned getting walmart denial scores that were based on wacky scoring systems, but mine said the range was 300-850 which sure looks like a fico. They only pulled TU and said my score was 582, but here on myFICO my TU score is currently 643. Any thoughts?
Yes ...score on here is TU98....Walmart is a TU08....different version fico......

TU on MyFICO, for me, is a solid 50 points higher than Wal-Mart's TU FICO (The TU in my sig line is the Wal-Mart FICO). What makes tis frustrating is that we really have no way of knowing which TU FICO lenders are using.

OK, I am just the opposite.
TU98=710
TU08=756
That is 46 points higher on the TU08 version. I think 08 is more forgiving when you have only one 30d baddie that is a bit aged (DEC08 in my case)
TU98 also counts the Amex charge card info differently. (negative impact for my purposes)
Funniest part of all is the most popular one used is neither, most use TU04. The whole thing is flat out rediculous.

What's more ridiculous is the fact that not only that, but the amount of different FICOs and not all lenders use the same version. Then you have FAKOs. No way of really knowing your true credit score because there isn't one.

Come, Watson, come! The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come!
