If it doesn't have a MasterCard or Visa or Discover or AmEx logo on it or in the text on the card, I'd say that's a pretty good sign.

Walmart specifically, store card is blue and just says Walmart, Mastercard is yellow/orange and says MasterCard with the logo and hologram.

there is being rude and there is being realistic. none of these posters have really been rude. OP has credit cards. they're clearly over 18. this isn't a kindergarten classroom and I think they can take a few jokes.

Walmart card will grow. mine started at 500 or something and it's at 6500 and a Walmart Mastercard about 2 years later.

also.... read the website before you apply. c'mon. that's not deceptive marketing, that's not a bait and switch, it's pretty clear when you look at the application and terms and conditions what you are getting.

.never apply for anything without reading, and look at the card before you use it, save yourself the embarrassment. if there's no visa/mc/amex/discover label on it... it's a store card.


also, you could've called up and asked for a cli to be able to cover the tires. you joined the forum for a reason, don't be afraid to ask questions before you apply for something willy nilly.

Will i help most posters. hell yeah. But if i see something funny. Will i laugh. of course i will. so before you try to site the rules of the .Forum. Read em your self please. simply look at the headline. Walmart only CC. what a joke.!. there you have it in a nutshell. Truly is a joke if someone thought it was a regular credit card for one minute. simple common sense goes a long way. on the forum and in real life.
