I got the same 2 - 4 week message as well.  I, then, called the WAMU backdoor number and was approved instantly.  They gave me a 5K CL and pulled Transunion.

Mporter13, What number did you use for the backdoor for WAMU?

WAMU Credit Dept. M-F 6am-5pm ( i believe PDT) 1-888-687-2273.  When you call this number, they will process your application before the 2 - 4 week period.  In my case it was instantly.  I was approved for a 5K CL after being on the line with them for 5 minutes.

After speaking to the WAMU Credit folks, they just wanted to confirm my identity.  I had a fraud alert on my CR's and they called me from another number just to verify it was me.  After that, i was instantly approved.

Funny thing is, I didn't recognize the number and almost didn't answer it... Plus i was on hold waiting for them to return.

mporter13, Do you remember what your scores were when you were approved?  I received an invitation letter for the same card in the mail this wknd.  Wondering if to app or shred.

iamrayl, i don't remember what my score was, but i can tell you that they pulled my TU on 7/21.  Which means my score was somewhere between 657 and 730.  I know that's not helping much, but that's the best i can do.
