Was I approved? Chase Freedom

I applied for Chase Freedom last week, and I wasn't auto declined however they said they will have to 'review your request.' and that I will recieve their decision in 10 business days with the card included if I was approved. Do you need good/excellent credit for this card? My current FICO is 625 with a current UTI of 28%. I have 1 derog that I paid in full, its almost 2 years old.

Call Chase: 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst - Recons) and ask to review your application and reconsider it if denied.

Re: Was I approved? Chase Freedom

The chase freedom is slight harder to get then the chase slate. When i had lower scores I got approved for the slate and denied for the Freedom. But i waited awhile using the slate card with them smartly and then reapplied a few months later and approved.. Good Luck and def try to recon like said in other response. Sometimes you can get surprised by a little work on your part by calling them and explaining things they might have to ask to better your odds on a approval.. Again GOOD LUCK. Let us know what happens.

And to answer your question i would say they are reviewing your application to see if you qualify. Not meaning you are approved. Calling them will def answer that question.
