I was looking over all my credit reports just now and noticed that GE/Walmart soft pulls me alot on TU! I did a little research and they have soft pulled me almost everytime I swipe the card in store for a purchase. Is that normal?? I have a 1K credit limit and my purchases are normally around 100.00.

That is kind of strange. I have a Walmart and don't have that problem.

I have only used the card 3 times, but I just checked and there is a soft either on the date of my purchase or the following day. I noticed one is labeled 'Permissible Purpose: CREDIT TRANSACTION '.Could be coincidence..lol. Don't worry about it.

GE/Wal-mart soft pulled me one time when I used my bank debt card BEFORE I ever applied for a walmart card (or any GE card).

I know some GE cards also initiate a request for a CLI if you attempt to make a purchase over your limit. So maybe every time you make a purchase they are just preparing or something? Seems odd
