Wells Fargo - CLD recently for anyone?

I currently have about 96% Util on my Wells Fargo CC ($4K balance). Currently, this is my highest credit line. To make a long story short, I have had high Util on this card since it was opened just over 2 years ago. I will be able to bring this balance down to around $2K-$2.5K over the next month, but desperately want to avoid a CLD. Curious if others with Wells Fargo CCs have been CLD recently? My goal is to lower my overall Util %, and if they chase the balance as I pay it down, that would completely defeat that purpose.

I guess one strategy would be to pay down 500-750 and see if they CLD me.

Thanks for any input.

The longer you delay, the higher your chances are that you will make them nervous!

But you might be okay since this has been a norm for you vs just maxing it in 1 month.
