Finally wells has a card that can compete with eveyrone else. I like this card better than my bofa cash rewards but was wondering if anyone knew the average credit score for approval? I know many other factors are considered. I am in the garden for awhile so I won't be applying anytime soon, just curious.
I'm wondering as well, I applied but got the "we need to verify some pieces of information" 5-7 mail. I have a Fico of 702 and have been a Wells Fargo customer since 2012 with a good amount of money in my savings + checking. My mom also applied and got the same message and she's been a customer since 1992. I'm not sure what factors in it. The card looks really nice though.
Its an interesting card but I think I would rather have an amex Costco card. It has features of a "real" amex card, and has almost all the same cash back categories as the propel, just my two cents.

@Anonymous these points can be redeemed for cash, @ 2500 points = $25, right?
My views: 3% on gas ==> same as Freedom year round, and less than Sallie Mae, but higher than BCE (2%)
2% on restaurants ==> same as CSP or Barclay Arrival. But no 2% on travel.
Annual bonus ==> 10% offer is same as Freedom, Sallie Mae, and Barclay Arrival (Travel redeem). 25% and 50% sounds nice though. Annual fee is a bummer !
Initial bonus: 20k points for 3k spend sounds a bit low.
Not too great. I'll stay in the garden and once I get out, probably will take a shot at CSP (already have Freedom and Chase checking) or Barclay Arrival (no-AF).
I'm also interested in knowing data points relating to this card. I will qualify for the 25% points bonus, but wondering if it is worth another hp, especially since the points structure for the 365 is exactly the same as BofA.
Also, for the propel world, it remains unclear if the AF will be partially, or fully waived for PMA customers? I know the AF for the 365 is waived. I think it's a step up in the right direction - although personally I would like to have a WMC/WEMC option rather than AMEX. Also, the 365 minimum spend is way too high for the benefits. My PC attempts haven't been successful thus far.
I wish I had known this when I applied for my Home Rebate Visa though them a while back.
Lol why would anyone want a Wells Fargo card? The new sams Mastercard is a lot better than this card plus no af. 5% gas 3% restaurants and travel and 1% everything else. Oh and I forgot to mention it's not an Amex so you can use it anywhere. A lot of mom and pop restaurants won't take Amex so unless you like going to get at chain restaurants all the time your gonna be reaching for another card.

Not everybody has access to an Sams club I would assume. For me there are no Sams club in my state. Me personally would rather take sallie Mae card but that's me

Yes I know. I would assume that the Wal mart card would be very similar. And yes I would take sallie Mae over the sams.
In the T&Cs:
You cannot earn a Relationship Bonus on points that are earned as either bonus points or as promotional points
So does this mean that, e.g. the 50% relationship bonus applies only to the base points, (so the card becomes 3.5/2.5/1.5 rather than 4.5/3/1.5)? Sort of similar to the bonus question on the Amex Everyday.
If it is the former, I REALLY don't see the attraction of this card!
