Congrats. I'm hoping to get mine in three months or so after the year completes of having the card. I'm a little worried since i read that many people have had the card for years and no letters of graduation. Also i was wondering that if the card graduates to an unsecured card does the secured card account closes? and if it does does it affect your credit score? Congats again. ![]()

No. WF graduates their card by opening a new card# and account but they keep all the reporting info and history on a single account at the CRAs. Also, WF doesn't hard pull when they graduate.

I think most do, USAA and Capital One I believe are two exceptions for their secured products.

Congratulations!
Same thing happened to me but the "duplicate" CC account scared me. Probably be good if they sent you a PM or email before suddenly you have two online CC accounts. Turned out everything was good and it's the way they automatically link charges from one to the other so that older charges go through for a while. Actually convenient if you have the CC linked to various autopay merchants like Verizon.
Oh, and, unlike Citi, enjoy getting unsecured without a hard pull. Also, they bumped my CL 20% a month later!
