Re: Wells Fargo, you're kidding.......

Thanks, found it. I feel like it wont go through. Wells Fargo seems like the type to say "We didnt get the payment".

Pay it several weeks early the first time.  (Well I suppose it's too late now?)  If Wells Fargo claims they didn't get the payment then your bank may deal with them and straighten things out.  Then again maybe they won't.

I do hope your bill isn't due as soon as Tuesday or anything like that.  With the holiday things are going to be behind a day.  Give yourself a few days and then check WF's site to make sure the payment got credited.  That way it won't matter if there's a little hiccup the first time.  Far more likely to be user error than to have WF intentionally blackhole a payment.

Re: Wells Fargo, you're kidding.......

I dont have a payment due yet, ill use the card this evening to take advantage on the 10% cashback at AMC theaters. When it posts, ill push the payment through via my bank.

Re: Wells Fargo, you're kidding.......

Schedule the payment through your bank's bill pay a week before it's due so you have a sense of the turnaround time. I agree that it's lame they won't let you pay online with a non WF account.

Re: Wells Fargo, you're kidding.......

It seems very behind the times that you can't pay online except with a Wells Fargo account. The more I hear about them, the less I like. Besides, the card just becomes a flat 1% after, so meh.

Just haven't gotten around to closing it. It never gets used, and sits at it's abysmal $900 limit. Smiley Tongue

Closed my WF bank accounts, then re-opened a checking account when they offered me $100, then closed it again. xD
