Don't be so sure on that @sjt. Even if they didn't officially count the OP may get the Chase hard eyeball (Recon or manual review) and draw a cold soul.

I had a very similar profile 2 years ago and was approved for slate at $2,200 and CSP at $5,000. I've since pc'd the CSP to a freedom unlimited because i couldn't justify the fee.

All revolving lines, including store cards, count towards 5/24. Not all of chase's cards have the 5/24 requirement, but for ones that do, there's no way for Chase to tell by looking at your credit report whether a revolving line is a store card or a mainline credit card.

20INQ within one year plus sub 700 score, I would seriously consider holding off 6 months or better yet, one year. In adition to credit risk from so many INQ, show some lotaylty  to the banks that showed faith in you, nuture those lines.. Like a job applicant who skips from job to job, you dont want Chase and others to view you as a "card hopper".

Congratulations!  Did you get the card to take advantage of a balance transfer offer?

Re: What Are My Chances For Approval With A Chase Sapphire Preferred Or Slate

No, because the balances I carry, are too small to be transferred to my new card.
