You say that as a joke, but I really used to make Amex cards out of construction paper when I was a kid.

My ex-fiance is in the Air Force and he paid for our first date with his USAA card. That made me smile. ![]()

Depends on what rewards are in play for the quarter.
Funny, though, in my dating days, woman loved to check out what card you used, or tried to be nonchalant in the glimpse.

Do you pull out the Amex? Flash around a little bit of the Discover? Or when the date goes south do you pull out the capital one secured card and call it a night haha..
Back when my mom was dating my step dad, about 30 years ago, when he pulled out his credit card to pay for dinner she thought, "poor guy couldn't even afford to pay for dinner and had to put it on a credit card." So becareful trying to impress the girl it can back fire. Of course he owned a computer store and had 10k in cash in his desk because quite often inventory was shipped COD cash on delivery back then.

Thats funny that you mention that because i once went on a date, and we went to a place called "dave and busters" which is basically a giant arcade.. Anyway, she was thirtsy and so was i so we went to the bar and i put 2 sodas on a credit card... and she looked at me and went "do you need money? youre paying for 2 drinks with a credit card" lol
