Re: What Have You Been Approved For Lately

I'm still barely starting out on my credit repair journey so my successes are still pretty minimal... Though, they ARE successes, so I'm happy about that. Smiley Happy I couldn't get a measly Target RedCard just 12 months ago so just imagine to my surprise that I got one last week. lol. I'm working on my card variety so last week I apped for two store cards and got approved, Target & Wal-Mart. I also apped for a pre-approved card with CreditOne and got approved for a pretty crappy limit as well. I'm planning to cut that one off soon as I creep back up in scores and qualify for a better card. (That one has a high yearly)

I also decided to try for a gas card on Friday so I gave Exxon/Mobil a shot since I use Mobil a lot and got that 30 day message but just called a few minutes ago and found out I was approved... So yay. Smiley Happy I'm done with my apping spree. More to come next year lol.

Well... maaaaybe just one more lol. (Just kidding...) Or am I... Oh, and scores are high 500s (was low 500s early '08) so imagine my surprise at all these approvals!!!

Re: What Have You Been Approved For Lately

I thought that I was getting my macy's store card but instead it was a macy's visa card.with 6000 cl.  That will balance out from boa cutting my visa in half lol.

Looks like Macy's still giving out good credit limit.

Re: What Have You Been Approved For Lately

A small installment loan, ($1000), at my local credit union.  I am rebuilding my credit since I only have a mortgage. Im trying to build the so called "mix" of credit.  I'll have this loan paid in 4-6 months.

Re: What Have You Been Approved For Lately

I was just approved for an Orchard Bank Gold MC for $320.

I got the 10-14 day message, but I did not receive an answer after 2 weeks so I gave them a call. I have a 90 day fraud alert on my CRA’s which required verification; 5 min later I was approved!
