I was denied Amex Plat But received a Continental Airlines card with $21,000 CL

I'm done applying.

I now have BoA and a Continental Airlines along with my CU cards.

Applied for two....one with Orchard Bank and the other with Capital One......DENIED!!!

I need to just chill and wait for a while!!!

Nothing.  I last applied for a BofA card, almost denied, then offered a low CL, which I had increased last week. 

I'm not apping anymore for a LONG while.

I got denied for two Discover cards, but got an offer for the HSBC card and took it. I also was denied for an American Express One. The reason given was that my privilige to pay over time was suspended on my other Amex's (a Green and a Platinum) which I didn't even know about. In the past 12 months I pushed like 70,000 through the cards and PIF before the due date, so I don't know what that's all about. Technically I recon'd in writing at the same time as I questioned the restrictions they put on there. Not expecting them to budge, considering they like making no sense. In total app'd for five cards I think, and I got two, am waiting for one to let me know (think I got it), and got denied straight up for two. I am done for a long while.

This is my status.  All of these applied and denied or approved for since February 2008.  The next app I do will be for a mortage in 2 yrs.

Amex CLI denied for having too many inquiries in the last six months (two of them).

Or for pulling my reports too often, depending on how you look at it.

I need some help here. I have a cap one 500CL, trying to build my credit, but get denied every time I try for something to help me improve on my credit. I'm scoring EXP-693 TU-631 EQ-?, but still not getting anywhere with improving my credit history. I just got denied by Wamu, with a card they suggested.
