Chase gives the majority of its money away by giving $50 statement credits and $25.00 for trying its products. Chase still has the better deal.
I don't know what Chase does with their money, nor do I care!! I was presenting a situation as it pertained to me. The only thing I've ever received from Chase was a rate jack that won't effect me cause I PIF.
Yeah I like the $50 credit when you reach the $200 mark.....

$10 Starbucks card for 5000 points. Congratulations
Of course I was talking about the $50 statement credit
Thanks anyway
With Navy you can get a $10 Starbucks Card at 2,000 points.
Among many other choices, at the 5,000 level you can get a $50 Visa Gift card - 7,500 for $75 Visa card, etc.
I consider that essentially cash back, since I can just use it to buy a $50 gift card to my local grocery store in one transaction to clear the entire balance -- and then use $50 I would have otherwise used for groceries as my "cash".
