What are my chances of upgrading the capital one green card?

Like the title says. I just got the average credit card with a $1K limit, not yet activated. Want to upgrade this mainly ot avoid the AF, has anyone done this? I have had a platinum card with them since october 2010, so hoping that might be in my favor.

In general, Cap One is not good at upgrades, etc. They usually just advise you to reapply for a prime card (if you now feel you qualify) rather than upgrade. For people that have upgraded cards, they usually have had them for a long time. They 'upgraded' me to the no AF Green card, from a Platinum. I had the Platinum since 2006. They did not grant me a CLI when they upgraded, so the only real upgrade was no AF, and that I now have a rewards card. I decided not to cancel it because it now has no AF (was 49/yr).

Likewise, I was ugraded from platinum to rewards card, no cli increase, but no af either. Currently it is sock drawered. Got almost three years of positive history with it. Plus when they ugraded me, I kept my old account number, thus all of the history.
