Yes thats right my credit utilization is 105%
Then reduce that as quickly as you can. I went down 29 points just for letting 50% of my credit limit on one of my cards report one month. Granted I did it on purpose but I couldn't stand the point drop - drove me crazy. You will get an increase in points if you can significantly lower your utilization and that would be a good start to priming your position to get the cards you really want.
Hello again guys, I'm sorry for the delayed response, very busy at work and what not. Anyways, I hope you guys have been great. These are my updated scores (they went up)
EXPERIAN: 601
TRANSUNiON: 596
EQUIFAX: 593
On the tenth, I will pay the minimum and on the 25th I will pay .625% of the total debt on both cards rounded to the nearest hundred and it should really help my credit and lower substantially my CC debt. I saw a credit card for the Express clothing store and that's the new goal. Let me know what you guys think and what should be my best route to take. Thanks again.
What have you gotten your ulitiz. down too?
The balances and limits currently on your reports are what matter -- not the current balance of the account or the current limit. A scoring model can only consider the data in a report. It does not have live access to your accounts.
