What are your favorite CC perks?

I ask the question because I'm renting a car to get to a baby shower next month, and I found out that if I pay for my rental with my Discover card I get 25% off the cost as well as a free upgrade!  Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't wait the extra month to app for the More :smileywink:

So tell me, what sort of cool perks have you gotten from your credit cards? Maybe we can learn a few things.

Finally having good enough credit to get decent reward cards :smileywink:. My current faves: all the Amex delta rewards - 30k bonus miles, free checked luggage and $25 lounge access, 10/10 chase freedom bonus rewards and my chase amazon rewards. Also I like linking cards to delta skymiles dining for even more bonus miles (my favorite bar is on the list so each pint gets me closer to free trip)

as for me right now just the cash back.

i know its not huge but its something.

also all amex's (i believe) have free rental car insurance. and buyer protection where as long as the item was charged in full on a card and the retailer/vendor wont return it. amex takes it.

Re: What are your favorite CC perks?

RENTAL Protection. If I rent a card with my credit card...most of them offer rental protection so I can decline the companys expensive mess. I have insurance options b/c I can go through my personal insurance or use the credit card's insurance. I love that perk. I used to rent frequently.

The truth is out there...

Re: What are your favorite CC perks?

1. Marriott/Ritz Carlton gold status after 10k annual spend. Normally gold takes 50 nights a year, and given my current travel patterns I'll never achieve that.

2. Airport lounge access
