Re: What are your goal cards?

In no particular order

  • Chase Southwest RR Premier for 50K pts, might go for companion pass
  • Amex Costco TE (Providing they stay a partner)
  • Chase Slate for BT
  • Fidelity Visa where Amex isn't accepted
  • Citi Double Cash maybe to replace the Fidelity?
  • Barclay Arrival+
  • Sallie Mae
  • I was going to PC my US Bank Visa Platinum to another Cash+ but with the upcoming changes, we'll see

12/19/19 06/11/20 07/02/20
Total CL: $708,900. Largest CL: Amex Bonvoy Brilliant $70K. Apple Card $40K. Chase Ritz Carlton $35K. Mouseover for individual CLs

Re: What are your goal cards?

Mine are:

Chase Freedom, but only if it's at the lowest APR (since they don't do APR reductions, which I think is the dumbest thing I've ever heard)

USBank Cash+

Huntington Voice (if they ever go national)

Citi DoubleCash (maybe)

Otherwise, all that I want is APR reductions on all of my cards other than Barclaycard (since I already have the lowest that they offer on those), and CLIs on most (if not all of my cards).

I really want an Amex BCE/Everyday and/or TE... I would also like the Citi DC, Chase Freedom and Southwest... My list is small, I know. I don't want any cards I won't use. These would fit my needs as of now but that could change in the future.

Re: What are your goal cards?

Arrival - definitely applying in March
Citi DC - maybe, could wait until 2016ish to reapply for this one after giving it more thought

Thats it. Closing Sapphire in a couple months and moving that CL over to Freedom. Five cards total is a nice manageable number for me.

Re: What are your goal cards?

I have most of the ones I want. For specific rewards, I'd like

1) Cap One QS (foreign travel)

2) Sallie Mae (gas & Amazon)

3) Discover IT (online shopping & hardware stores)

4) AARP (restaurants)

I have my eye on Marriot & Double Cash.
I'm also thinking about a 2nd Sallie Mae.
