Yeah, I tried to recon with Citi once, and they were RUDE...even though I did speak with a CA in America... Reason for denial was a $280 PAID CO from 2007. Haha how lame! My FICO was like 672.
To top it all off: it was a lower end exxon mobile MC that they denied me for :-0.
