I am not planning to app for any CC's until spring of 2015. In the mean time I am trying to decide what cards I might like. I am sure I will change my mind multiple times before then. But here is my working list:
Chase CSP -not sure yet as travel/dinning card
Chase Freedom - Need to see the catagories and learn how it works with Chase CSP better
Amex Fidelity (BOA) - 2 % Everything
US Bank Cash + (For Dinning/5%)
What are some cards you are looking at for your next spree?
Currently no cards for me, i have all my dream cards now just working on limits till im satisfied, and going to be closing my store cards.
I feel pretty content with what I have now so nothing at the moment at this point. I even stopped caring about wanting a Chase Freedom cause I have most of the other cards I wanted in the first place and I know for sure which CC companies really like me best as a customer so I'll continue doing business with them. I will try to PC stuff like the Forward to maybe an AAdvantage Card or a TYP and stuff like that though.
Jan of 2015:
Amex Platinum
Chase Freedom
Sallie Mae
Feb 2015
Sallie Mae
US Bank Cash+
Discover It
Chase Freedom
Best Buy
End of year/early next year I want the Barclay Arrival for my everyday spend.
When my EX report clears up (not until 2016 ) I want the Amex SPG.
That's really all I want in the foreseeable future.
Hopefully by next month, no later than the end of the year -
Sallie Mae
One of the travel/hotel cards - Marriott/Hyatt
Overall, I am pretty happy with what I have too. So if I get the Fidelity or not is not really a big deal to me since I have the QS at 1.5%. I am going to evaluate my restaruant spending for the year and see if the Cash+ will be worth the value to apply or not. So finding sign up bonuses for travel is where I really want to concentrate.
I do like seeing other peoples "wish lists" and why as it is interesting to see where everyone else is at and why they are interested in them.
My next mini spree will be for Sallie Mae and Chase Freedom.
Way down the line, I'll go for Cash + and JCB Marukai. Maybe AARP when I get to that age...LOL.
