What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

I am not planning to app for any CC's until spring of 2015. In the mean time I am trying to decide what cards I might like. I am sure I will change my mind multiple times before then. But here is my working list:

Chase CSP -not sure yet as travel/dinning card

Chase Freedom - Need to see the catagories and learn how it works with Chase CSP better

Amex Fidelity (BOA) - 2 % Everything

US Bank Cash + (For Dinning/5%)

What are some cards you are looking at for your next spree?

CapOne $7500 | Discover $8500 | Amex ED $25K | Barclay SM $5700 | Chase Disney $500 | Chase Slate $5K | Target $3K | Hilton Amex $2K

Re: What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

I feel pretty content with what I have now so nothing at the moment at this point. I even stopped caring about wanting a Chase Freedom cause I have most of the other cards I wanted in the first place and I know for sure which CC companies really like me best as a customer so I'll continue doing business with them. I will try to PC stuff like the Forward to maybe an AAdvantage Card or a TYP and stuff like that though.

Tradelines: Macy’s - $18k, Penfed Power Cash Rewards - $10k, Ethan Allen (TD Bank) - $5.7k, Kay Jewelers - $5.5k, Appliances Connection - $5.3k, Jared - $5.25k, Best Buy (Citi) - $5k, Dell Preferred Account - $3.5k, Samsung - $3.2k, Firestone CFNA - $3.2k, Capital One Platinum - $3k, Mercury MC - $2.25k, Williams Sonoma - $2.1k, Wayfair (Fortiva) - $2k, Amazon Store Card - $1.8k, Apple Card - $1.7k, NFCU cashRewards - $1.5k, CareCredit - $1.5k, B&H Photo - $1.5k, Adorama - $1.25k, Ebay MC - $1k, Sam’s Club MC - $1k, American Eagle - $1k, Ollo MC - $600, Mission Lane Visa - $500, NY & Company - $500, Walgreens - $500, Home Depot - $500, Target RED Card - $500, CapOne Secured MC 0 AF - $500, Penfed Overdraft LOC - $500

Current FICOS: Mid 640s-50s on all reports, Ch 7 BK D/C Aug 2019
Starting scores: EX - 534, EQ - 574, TU - 516 | Total TLs: $91k approx | Total Utilization: 17%, getting this back down

Re: What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

I thought I new but my list keeps changing. I don't plan to app until summer of 2015.

I am looking at Barclay Arrival + or maybe the one without AF. - travel card

I would like the US bank cash + for the different categories. (Fast food, drug store, cell phone)

I also would like an AMEX cc but I am not sure which one. I also need to find a cc that's good for groceries. Spend about 400-600 a month!

Re: What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

End of year/early next year I want the Barclay Arrival for my everyday spend.

When my EX report clears up (not until 2016 Smiley Sad ) I want the Amex SPG.

That's really all I want in the foreseeable future.

I've got some cards. Some are pretty, some are ugly. Some are more useful than others.

Re: What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

Overall, I am pretty happy with what I have too. So if I get the Fidelity or not is not really a big deal to me since I have the QS at 1.5%. I am going to evaluate my restaruant spending for the year and see if the Cash+ will be worth the value to apply or not. So finding sign up bonuses for travel is where I really want to concentrate.

I do like seeing other peoples "wish lists" and why as it is interesting to see where everyone else is at and why they are interested in them.

Re: What cards are you considering for your next app spree?

My next mini spree will be for Sallie Mae and Chase Freedom.

Way down the line, I'll go for Cash + and JCB Marukai.   Maybe AARP when I get to that age...LOL.
