Re: What do you guys consider a high limit.

It really depends on the person's income and needs.

If a person makes a $300 a week $1500 should be considered a high limit then, most people have more than 5 credit cards.

True. Always depends on income.  But not true. Most people don't have 5 credit cards  That's just on these forums. According to recent survey. Most Americans only have two

Re: What do you guys consider a high limit.

I consider 5 digit cards "high limit." Seems 5K is fairly average, regardless of income. I see some folks here who make 20% of what I do with higher limits than my cards. Smiley Sad

Re: What do you guys consider a high limit.

5K is pretty acceptable on general spend cards.

10K+ is great on low APR cards.

In my personal view, I do think it would be nice to have 3-5 more cards with minimum 5k limits.

@taxi818 I agree that most people have 2-3 card. Me myself, I'm trying to cut down to this number.

Re: What do you guys consider a high limit.

Assuming you pay your cards off in full every month, I don't see why anyone would need over $8000.

That's a limited view. I easily spend 10k a month on a card. So I needat least 1 high card. Even pif has nothin to do with it. So i use multiple cards. You can't max anything out. There fore many need20-30k cards. That's your situation only.
