Re: What does "Signature" Visa mean?

Longtimelurker gave a good summary.

Another nice perk is that there are sometimes discounts for using a visa signature card, such as buy 1movie ticket get 1 free every Friday, discounts for wine tasting, etc.

Re: What does "Signature" Visa mean?

One thing to remember: in the outside world, Signature cards are very common indeed.  (They often generate higher swipe fees).  So while they advertize early access, upgrades  etc, that really only works because most people don't know (or maybe care) about the perk.
