Re: What does the FICO community think? (Yes, another AMEX Zync Question :-P )

UPDATE GUYS!!

So today I checked my score and i was mistaken originally. My last score was (which was a 670) was with a 50% reported balance from my Capital one. I paid it off, last month but apparently it the statement cut before the payment went through (hence my 670). But my Cap one is at $0 now, and it was just attributed to my account.

new score as of 10-28-2010? 710 Smiley Very Happy

So as you can imagine, due to my youthful imaptience, I applied and was approved! My Zync will be arriving next week Smiley Happy

Thanks so much for the info guys, Finally part of the 700 Club Smiley Happy

Re: What does the FICO community think? (Yes, another AMEX Zync Question :-P )

So lets rewind 1 months ago, I purchased a plane ticket on my cap one (the plane ticket was $259, my CL was $500) ...

Towards the end of the statement I paid that off, I thought that it was going to attribute the payment to my account before the statement cut, but it didnt.... So my Utilization reported at over 50%

So this last statement I paid it off in full, and made sure all my other credit cards were at $0. And the cap one was even overpayed (thats why I mentioned that being a good thing), and i forgot that it was going to alter my score. So when I checked it today (before applying for the Zync) in turns out, that elminating my utilization sent me into the 700 club Smiley Happy

Re: What does the FICO community think? (Yes, another AMEX Zync Question :-P )

Thanks Smiley Happy

It varies, it's essentially a "create your own rewards card" so the minimum is $25, but you can add packs that will generate more points for you, but increase your annual fee...

Let me know if you have any more questions,

It will be a bit of a change for me, As I had a gold (as a AU) which used Membership Rewards, and this uses Membership Rewards Express.
