What happened to the Discover lineup?

I was on their website and noticed they only have Discover It and a couple business credit cards now. Did they discontinue the rest of their cards?

Re: What happened to the Discover lineup?

I think they discontinued all of their cards with the exception of the IT card.

There was a link floating around here for the card builder that would let you get their other cards. Not sure if it is still active.

Re: What happened to the Discover lineup?

By googling Discover Open Road, I found this application link on their website

https://www.discover.com/credit-cards/get-discover/open-road-card/

It appears to still work

Re: What happened to the Discover lineup?

Well, they are mainly pushing the IT card. They do have a travel card called "Miles". In order find it you have to scroll to the bottom of the homepage in the darker shaded portion right below the center line that links to "Why Discover, Watch Discover, etc"  the left side shows Cash Rewards, Miles, and a few others. If you click on it they bring you the Miles site.

Re: What happened to the Discover lineup?

I know about Miles but it seems to going bye-bye. Also, its not a great card compared to other top end travel cards.

The Discover Miles and the Discover Escape are fantasic travel cards.  Miles gives you double miles on travel, entertainment, and dining. 3k cap a year though.  It is a card to supplement your other cards.  Redemption is easy too. The escape gives you double miles on everything with a $65 annual fee.

I actually posted that for the OP asking about any other Discover cards Smiley Very Happy

But I would think the Miles is a pretty good travel card. I mean it may not be the best in the category but compared to some other ones it is probably around average-better than average.
