What is nfcu Signature rewards card vs cash rewards card?

I thought my new NFCU card was a cash rewards card but I just noticed on my profile that it's a Signature rewards card. What is the difference?

If your card says cash rewards on it, it's cash rewards. Otherwise it's their points reward card.

So, green card with "Cash Rewards" on it, its cash rewards. Blue card with "nRewards" on it, it's points.

The difference is obvious. One gives you immediate cash back. The other gives you reward points.

the NFCU cashrewards card comes in 2 flavors.  If you have a CL below 5K, then you get the standard cashrewards card.  If you have a CL at 5K or above, it's the Signature Cashrewards card.  No difference in the rewards,  just the names are changed to reflect the benefits.

the NFCU cashrewards card comes in 2 flavors.  If you have a CL below 5K, then you get the standard cashrewards card.  If you have a CL at 5K or above, it's the Signature Cashrewards card.  No difference in the rewards,  just the names are changed to reflect the benefits.

Thanks for clearing that up.My limit is $7K. So there is zero differences at all other than the credit limits? No differences in discounts,status ect?

You are welcome  The rewards from NFCU regarding the cash back is the same for both the siggy and the regular.  However, you can register your siggy card at:

https://visasignatureconcierge.com/MCScalable/VisaLogin.do?program=visausa

to reap the benefits of the signature status of the card.

Signature cards get the slate of Signature benefits. Regualr cards don't. They're listed on the website.

My Cash rewards card on my account profile says my new card is a "Signature Rewards card". Will the plastic card also say its a Signature card?
