What is the best gas rewards card?

I had the Chase Perfectcard, but they forced it to convert to Saphire, so I closed it.  I'm looking to replace it with something similar, and I have already looked at Discover Open Road and American Express Costco and don't like either.  Right now, I'm using my Schwab card for everything.  Is there anything similar or better than the Perfectcard out there?  (Besides Discover and AMEX)  I would also like it to be something that credits rebates automatically.

PenFed Visa Rewards -5% on gas right back into your account.

Penfed is the best gas card.

There are the gas cards from Chase (like the BP Visa) that are 5% back at one place.

Citi has the Shell MC that's 5% at Shell.

I personally use the Driver's Edge, but it's certainly not automatic.
