What other products do you have with them? How long have you been a member? Is this your first card? Are you a "full member"?
USAA can be quite generous with limits and if you don't get one intitally, they will raise them when you call in.
I think I was approved for $6k for my first card with them and that went to $12k and then now is $24k in the time span of 2 years...however, my second card with them I had been a member longer and have more products so I approved for $14k right away. That being said, they have some kind of internal limit and with the new laws...there is a max they will allow you to have for your income level across all their products.
But you should be able to get at least $3k-$5k with them with those scores if you have other products and a long history with them.
Finally, don't forget to check online first and see if you have any offers there.
