What % of your SL was your 1st Discover CLI?

What % of your SL was your 1st Discover CLI?

Pretty basic question here.  I'm looking for data points on % gains with first CLIs through Discover, preferably with some data points to go along with it if you don't mind such as your TU FICO 08 at the time, your spend/payment(s) over the first 91+ days or however long it was before you went for your first CLI.  If you'd like to list your SL and your new limit after the CLI that's great as % gain can be seen there along with dollar gain.  I've read through a ton of Discover CLI threads in this section and gotten some decent data on this, but at least half the time the thread just says they got a $3k CLI or some amount without any other data to go along with it and I don't want to bring 20 dead threads back to life in hope that the OP will come back and give more info.

I don't think I've heard of many receiving 200% initial CLI gains with Discover like is routinely the case with Amex or anything so I'm just curious about this.

Example of what I'm looking for:

25% gain from $4000 SL to $5000.  TU 705 at the time.  Put about $300-$400 on the card per month for 3 months.  PIF twice, left a small balance once.

Thank you everyone for your time and data.

As someone who is still waiting for my 1st Discover CLI, I like this idea! And DoroLucky's format makes it easy to glean the data points. Can a thread like this be ongoing so we end up with a large, centralized collection of datapoints? It would even be cool to do this for different cards too.

Re: What % of your SL was your 1st Discover CLI?

After approval and six months of use I received a 12.5% increase. Note, the initial credit line was $2,000 and it went to $2,250 auto CLI.

If someone receives an auto CLI in the first 90 days that sort of messes up the 91+ day initial CLI request data point... but still worthy info Smiley Happy

False!  If you get an Auto you have been notified that your account is ready to roll down the tracks and get CLI's from the LUV button.  See my post where I got the Auto and a manual the same day.  HIT THE BUTTON!

I haven't got mine yet, but my fella just got his 91 day CLI last weekend. 1K to 4K instant so 300%? It's his first and only CC. Scores in the mid 700's, no derogs, guess-timating his AAOA is 2yr 2 mos, PIF each month, usage $200-$500 per month.

My first CLI on Discover was 10% of my initial CL.   I was approved with a $5K CL and got a $500 CLI on day 91.  TU FICO was ~690 at that time.  UTIL was ~20% at that time.
