When i called chase to recon my cli request i just said "my account turned 6 months old so i want a cli" she said ok....

YUP - I got the card, I have handled the card, GIVE ME HIGHER LIMIT! LOL

 

I feel no reason to give a reason... Take Macy's back in 2009 I had $5k on Store, $8k on Visa, and $3600 Furniture with $0 on store and she was like "I don't understand why you want higher if you don't need your current line" (think I asked for $7500) and I just told her I just wanted it because I can!  She put me on hold for a minute and it was almost like she didn't want to tell me... "well when I put the request in for an increase, it is actually telling me you qualify for $10k, would you like it increased to that?"
