I just applied for the Sallie Mae card and got immediately denied. The number I found on Google was 866-369-1283, but I got a message saying "This number is reserved for future use..."
"Call back between 8am and 5pm"
Thanks anyway :-)
I am interested in your current credit profile and how your TU looks (i am assuming who they pull) and hearing how your recon goes tomorrow. good luck

762 EQ Fico, 4.5 year AAoA, 15% utilization
My TU Fico (from MyFico) was 734 about a month ago
Thanks! I'll definitely keep you posted!
Make sure you call back before they close, its 8-5 eastern time. If you live on the US west coast, that means they close at 2.
Good luck, post here when you get approved (notice I didn't say if ;P)
Good luck ! Good thing you don't live in Alaska. I had to call this number at 12 PM when I recon'd because I live in Alaska & didn't want to catch an analyst while he/she was anxious to get off work Time Zones = . Sucks even more for people in Hawaii though !
UPDATE
I called to recon this morning, and the lady I spoke to was extremely nice, asked me a few questions about income, etc, but told me that ultimately they could not approve me because I still have one card in a debt management program (I had to go into the program because of high utilization, ie, my ex-wife maxed them out, but I've never had single late or missed payment in 13 years of credit history) and to apply once that card was paid off and the comment regarding the debt management program was removed. Long story short, I'll apply again in September once my utilization is close to 0%.
Thanks, everyone, for your support!
She did tell me that they almost always pull TU exclusively, by the way.
