What's in your wallet?

Well right no I don't have very many, so I carry them all:

WellsFargo Visa (debit)
WellsFargo Platinum Visa (was my go-to card for a while; slowly transitioning and throwing my new cards into the mix)
Chase Freedom Visa (trying to show it some love in hopes of getting a CLI soon; also hoping they'll grant me the $200 sign up bonus. Not to mention how pretty it is <3)
CapitalOne Quicksilver Visa (1.5% back on absolutely everything with rewards redeemable at any level can't be beat)
Dillard's Store card (probably going to SD this one once my new Barclays card arrives)

After reading another posters thread about losing their wallet and being advised not to carry all my cards, I've amended my answer.

I carry:
BofA Cash
CSP
Venture
Hilton and Delta Amexes
BofA debit card

Store cards, all other majors and my checkbook stay in my glove compartment

Why wold to keep them in your glove compartment ?  Not a very safe or secure place to keep anything important.

All the cards in my signature are in my wallet. I keep the Quicksilver, Discover It and Target debit card in the easy to access section since they get the most use. I don't carry my bank debit card.

I tend to lose my cards.  I try to think of what I absolutley need for the day and take that with me.  Now that I've been on this forum I use my credit card and leave my debit card(lost 4 times last year) at home.  Now that I have the Chase Freedom card, I use that for everything.

Store cards are only carried on an "as needed" basis.

If I left them at home, what if I'm out of town and my wallet gets stolen? I don't keep cash in it, so it can be replaced if for some crazy reason somebody broke in my car, but it's not useful for the backup to not be available

Worst possible place to keep any important document or credit card is your glove compartment.  You're keeping them here as a hedge against your wallet being stolen but don't think your car will be broken into.  Strange reasoning as the latter happens quite often.
