Brrr... Do you sense the chill in here? And I don't think it's from Nixon's credit reports.
As Nixon sort of implied earlier on: we should distinguish between
a) topics that we are not allowed to discuss here
b) things that are "wrong" in some moral sense.
Just understand that a does not imply b, it's just that the board owners make the rules (however strange they may be) and mods will enforce as best they can.
So yes, there are/maybe times when freezing makes sense to protect yourself, (in the same way as MS makes sense to me as a fairly effortless way to enrich myself,), we just don't need to mention them here and don't need to feel wronged when the mods pounce. Just chuckle all the way to the bank. Or whatever.
The bottom line in all this is that we all need to remember is that Nixon is a troublemaker.

No Venture or Ring for me.
Really and truly, Ring has been around for a long time. I have looked at the card in the past, but decided to go the CU route to fill the need for this type of card instead. It's somewhat humorous in a way that a single approvaal can create so much hype over such a well established card. Isn't there even a big long thread on it somewhere? "Put our heads together" or something like that... Isn't that thread all about Ring? Or no? Maybe that's something else.
So how's the community aspect side to It? Is it just a forum where you ask for benefits they don't give you?
