The CLI button was due for some pushing last week but I wasn't sure how Discover handles requests when the CL is at $25k. Declared income is $55k but I really don't want to go through the hassle of tax documents and bank statements. Also, don't need a CLI right now. But you know, the itch can be back any time.
BTW I'm also carrying a balance, typically between $2k-$2.5k over the past 10-11 months because of the 2nd term 0% promo APR. PIF once around the 6 months mark then built up again. They seem to be okay with it. I generally pay off a third and rack it up again.Edited to add the last two increases.

Wow! $750 -> $34K - huge!
I stand testament to the fact that Discover CL does grow even when you start from a tiny limit.
For all of you with limits over 25k has discover ever requested income they don't seem to be like Amex once you hit 25k from what I've seen?
I didn't keep track of the CLIs, but I started at $1400 in May 2015 and am already at $11,600.
I got a couple denials along the way, but not many. All soft pulls, with a CLI request submitted online about once a month. And I was considered so marginal when I first applied that they didn't even give me a 0% promo rate. Discover is awesome. I now use them for savings and checking, too.

About a year ago, there were threads that discussed employment verification with Discover limits >$20k, but that seemed to go out the window when they started handing out CLIs every 17 days last spring.
I've done the income verification thing with AmEx...never once have I had to provide income or employment verification to Discover.
