So, I have been reading on this thread how Orchard bank only gives LOW credit limits and REALLY LOW increases, if any, over years. I have an Orchard bank card going on almost a year. It started at $320 with $29 AF 8 months ago, I called, Increase of...wait for it....$100!!! Just for fun, and because I am cureous, does anyone get a high limit with this company? What's your limit....
Card: Orchard Bank Gold
AF: $29
Yrs: 0.8
Starting CL: 320
Current CL: 420
Mine started at $300, now a $600 card.
My wife started at $500, now a $900 card.
(I've had mine for four years, hers for three...)
i started with $500 feb 2010.
sometime in 2011 it automatically went up to 700. i think it was after i carried a balance for months and then paid off in full.
i still have an annual fee, i want to call them everyday until someone waives it.
Thanks for the reply! Wow, that's great...you are both at almost double the original limit. If you don't mind me asking, what are your scores?
Wow, they gave you an annual fee with your scores...I am doomed to AF hell
Opened in August 2010 with a $500 CL.
Requsted a CLI sometime a few months ago, and was denied. Requested a CLI this month (December 2011), and they gave me a $100 increase. So my current limit is $600. I have the Orchard Bank 'Gold' Visa, with a $79 AF and a 15-something % APR.
79??????????
OUCH! i cant see paying that high for something thats not amex or palladium......or at least giving me back a CL of $10k and over
79 is pretty darn high to only get back $600!!!

but wait,, if u act now we will give u an extra 100 bucks,, u just pay $40 for process and handling
I forgot what I started with but they increased my card to 900 after about a year of having the card. Then I called and asked for a increase and they increased it to 1300 but I havent used the card in about four months. I think I'm going pay it off within the next three months and close it.

It's ridiculous, but it's a subprime card and c'est la vie. It served its purpose, but I'm closing mine later this year.
