My BofA Privileges card. The only emergency I can think of is Chase's computers are down so my charges won't go through. Smiley Happy

Re: What's your emergency card?

I'd use whatever card could carry the balance.  Based on APR I'd probably go with the PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards card since it has a 9.99% APR.

Re: What's your emergency card?

Depends on how big of an emergency.
I only carry 3 cards with me... so if its an immediate emergency, I'd use my BCe.  (Yeah I know, immediate emergency sounds silly).  but it its an 'emergency" such as my fridge dying, or my car having major issues... those would go on the HHonors card (citi).  I don't use it, and its got a nice limit.  Most importantly, I would hope my emergency fund would cover it so that the interest wouldn't be an issue.

DCU 9.5% APR, no BT or cash advance fees.

Hmm. I really need to look into a DCU cc then. Right now, my emergency card would be whatever card I have 0% on - BCP, DiscoIT, Freedom. But if I didn't have a 0% card, then it would be my Slate which has the lowest apr at 11.99%. I was planning on closing the Slate once I pay off my BT but this gives me something to think about as a reason to keep. Unless I get a card from DCU of course.
