I'm curious....what is your goal credit card limit all together? All you can get, to match your salary or what?
When I started building my credit last year, my first goal was to just get approved (lol), then once I started getting cards I wanted to break the 5,000.00 credit limit on a card. I did that today with a new Amex BCE approval. I don't see really needing much more than 5k on any of my cards. So I'm curious what goals y'all set. Do you jusy always want more as you get more/better cards??
Went over $100K this month, so I'm very satisfied with where I am. I have the cards that I wanted and the limits are fine where they are. If I get auto-CLI, cool...if not, I'm just fine with staying where I am! Time to GARDEN big time ! ! ! !

$10,000 per card, $50,000 total CL. I was hoping to get over the $10k hump on my 61 day 3x CLI from $5400 starting CL to $15k. But they only gave me $8500. Disapointed to say the least but I only put about $700 through the card in 3 months so its expected.

I like having my limits high enough to be able to book airfare and hotel for family vacations without having to worry about multiple payments.

I just want to get my first 5 digit limt...without a hard pull and recover from all my new accounts and inquiries over the last year. I am hoping in six months I will have all my scores at 760+ if I don't app.
My goal later this year is to obtain Discover with a high starting limit and low APR and maybe CSP. Perhaps a Citi card...but only because they have denied me twice and I think I just want the satisfaction of getting them to say yes..lol

Eh, I would love at least one card with at least $5K at this point...something I can travel with without issues. For daily use, though, cards in the $1K - $2K range would be perfect.
Of course, the more the better. I'd just lock up most of them.

10k per card is what I am aiming for non Amex.
25k is Amex!

That´s a good one.
In additon: Enough to not worry about UTIL if a balance reports. Still PIF of course, but not before statement cuts. Aiming to pay on due date.
