NFCU at 7.5k.. .. They gave me that with a 25k income and 90% UTI. Very weird, but i'm extremely happy about it.

Not true. I am approved for two of the Chase cards just within a month span (June 2014 and July 2014). $26K and $32K......No documentation to verify income was requested. By the way I am impressed with your limits on variety of cards. Great accomplishment on your part.

I believe mxp used the term 'most lenders' and as your situation may not have required income docs; the possibility may still exist for others.

You are absolutely correct, as we had seen many users of this forum who had been requested for income verification by CC companies. My own two cents on that scenarios would be that if they had reached a max level of open available credit comapred to their reported earnings, then it would trigger verification. There could be many more situations which we would probably don't even know.
