Has anyone just stopped asking for SP increases or declined them?

Amex BCE at $26K is my highest.  And yes, I've stopped asking for SP increases on this account.  My last increase was September 2014.  There are 2 main reasons for this:

1.  $26K is way more than I need.

2.  I like even amounts for CLs if possible (I'm crazy like that.....lol).  I don't want to end up with some counter offer odd ball limit.

And as shocking as it may sound, I likely won't go for any SP increases on my $20K venture.  Again, way more than I need. Smiley Wink

Re: What's your highest Credit Card limit?

On a recent app spree...

Starting limits

Chase Sapphire Preferred - $24k

Capital One Venture - $20k

Chase Amazon Rewards - $8.5k

Amex SPG - $3k (whomp whomp), got 3x CLI to $9k on activation

Citi Premier - $8.8k (odd number)

I had been tending to my scores for a long time with almost no inquiries and a very high income which is probably what netted me such high limits.  I put $6-$8k spend/month on these cards... dem sign up bonuses though..

Re: What's your highest Credit Card limit?

My current highest limit is Fidelity AmEx, which has a whopping $23k limit. Considering I also have BofA Better Balance Rewards at $7.5k, I think it is safe to say I am in the good graces of BofA/FIA.

Cards I Carry
$7.5K $23K $5k $300(SEC) $500 $300 $1,500 $800 $800
Total Available Credit: $39.7k | FICOS: EX 659 | EQ 661 | TU 673

Re: What's your highest Credit Card limit?

On Saturday I got a $15K AMEX everyday card.  New account, though I had a 24 year-old senior gold backdated.

Re: What's your highest Credit Card limit?

Chase Saphire Preferred at $33,500. Amex has no "pre-set spending limit" but one day they set mine at $34K. Just received Chase British Airways with $33K as the limit. Amex was first to set a $30K+ limit. After that every approval has been around that amount.

Amex Platinum, Amex Blue, Amex Starwood, Citi Diamond Preferred, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase British Airways, Chase Southwest Airlines, CapitolOne Venture

Re: What's your highest Credit Card limit?

My highest limit is on my American Express Clear card- $25,000.00Smiley Happy

My Freedom card just went from 15,000 to 24,405, after I closed my CSP(10500), and requested to move the available credit to my Freedom from the CSP. For some reason the CSR only moved 9, 405.00. I knew that $95.00 had to remain on the CSP until the annual fee was credited after my cancelation but not sure why she did not move over the other $1000.00. Anyway Im happy with the increase and now I only have one card with a $95.00 annual fee.
