I don't think it will be a HP!!  You may want to ask them before you ask for APR reduction

11.24 (another example of Discover preferring oddball numbers, as they so often do with their CLs). I've only asked for one APR reduction. It was years ago, but it was an SP.

My suggestion would be to ask at same time. That's what I did. Also its a SP. Sometimes they will offer you a choice between 3.9% on purchases for 6 months or a lower APR. I have gotten 3 Apr reductions and 1 promo on purchases in the last 2 years... all SP my Apr used to be a horrid 26.99 until I found this site and used size ormans kit. Suze's kit was the first one who suggested that I call and ask. Ever since then I have sporadically called and received them. My rate was high because this was the first card I ever had and I got it in the late 90s. I plan on continuing to get my rate lowered as I will be keeping this card for a long time.
