I think for me.... I'm about to charge 50% and don't know if I can pay it back before statement cuts.
Gambling debt - It is what caused me to have to declare BK.
1) Getting the First Premier card.
2) Using the First Premier card(with 30+ APR didn't need this card sooooo stupid).

This exact thing.
2K limit on Discover, put 1K on it. Before I could move half of that 1K onto another card. Statement posted. It moved half day after.
Same with another card I was doing some MS on. Timed it wrong. Thought I could MS and make payment before statement. Failed.
My TU score plumeted. 745 to 709.
Sigh.
Mine would be not paying them and letting them go to collections.
I was young and stupid.
way to much to list when I was younger (18-22) Thirty four years old and much more knowledgeable about managing by money and credit.

X 2
It wasn't young and stupid. It was old enough to know better but so depressed I could barely get out of bed much less do anything meaningful. It was a small secured card, and I had the money to pay it, but I would get really irritated by high annual fees or if I was late (because logging on was too much to cope with) a high late fee.
Not paying a small $500 card and letting it go to collections is tied with the two higher limit cards (around $4k - $5k) being in my husband's name only, the car loans in his name, etc. I was 21 when we married and when I finally left I had VERY VERY little credit history and the only CC in my name had late payments, even a court judgement against it. It has since been removed from my CR.
Applied for NFCU goRewards too soon. $1000 limit, my lowest.
